These terms govern your use of Chores Weekly. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Chores Weekly is a household chore planning and task management application. It is provided free of charge for personal and household use. The software, design, and branding are proprietary; using the app does not give you ownership of it. Features may be updated, enhanced, or modified over time as the platform evolves.
Accounts
You can create and access your household using supported authentication methods, including Google and email sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share access in a way that lets unauthorized users alter your household. If you create a developer API key, treat it like a password and revoke it from Developers if it leaks. You must be old enough to use online authentication services in your country.
Your content
You retain your rights in names, chores, notes, and other content you add. You grant us a license to host, copy, process, back up, and display that content as needed to operate the service for your household, including showing it to other people in the household. We do not sell your content. Do not post illegal content or anyone’s sensitive data that they did not agree to share. The household owner can delete the household and its content at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse, scrape, or attack the service, don’t try to access other households, and don’t use it for anything other than planning household chores. We may suspend access if these terms are broken or if needed to protect the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. While we strive for high reliability and uptime, we are not liable to the fullest extent allowed by law for lost chores, lost points, missed reminders, or other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. If you keep using Chores Weekly after that, you accept the new terms.
